Our Story
Established in 2026, BTG Legacy Ranch is more than just a plot of dirt wrapped in barbwire and speckled with livestock. The ranch is named in honor of my son, Benjamin Trey Gruber, who passed away at just 26 years old after a long and difficult battle with alcohol and drug addiction.
To those who knew him, Trey was farm more than his struggles. He was a gifted musician, a storyteller, and a soul who connected deeply with others. Though his music with his band, Parent, he touched hearts in a way that words alone never could. His songs carried honesty, pain, beauty, and hope - echoing the very spirit of the land we stand on now.
Trey grew up on this farm. It was here he first picked up a guitar, here that his voice began to take shape. and here that he drew inspiration from the folk traditions of southern Ohio - Shaped by family, friends, and the timeless influence of artist who told real stories about real life.
BTG Legacy Ranch exists to carry that spirit forward. It is a place rooted in remembrance, resilience, and the enduring power of creativity. While Trey’s journey was marked by hardship, his legacy is one of connection, expression, and the reminder that even in struggle, there is beauty worth sharing.
We welcome you to be a part of that legacy.
