Of course! We love having the opportunity to introduce horse back riding to anyone with the desire to learn. While horse back riding is exciting, we do ask you take a few things into consideration before booking your equine experience. Any activity involving horses and livestock is inherently dangerous. A waiver must be completed prior to arrival for each participant. You may find our waivers here under ____ and once signed, they may be emailed back to us at _____or you may bring a completed physical copy with you to the ranch. Minors are required to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. They must also present a completed waiver with the parent/guardians signature. We ask that every participant listens closely during the initial breifing and adheres to the rules set in place for your saftey. Everyone will begin in a controlled enviorment with their horses before setting out on the trails. Here, we will teach you how to ride your horse and allow you get comfortable with your new four legged partner. We reserve the right to end the ride at anytime we deem necesary for the saftey of the people and animals involved.

No, you are not required to wear cowboy boots and jeans. However, we do require every participant to wear closed toed shoes (i.e. boots of any kind or sneakers) and pants of any kind that cover the entirety of the leg. Our trails are well groomed, but you may still be exposed to poison ivy/oak, thorn bushes, insects, ext. Our horses have excellent manners and we do everything we can to make sure everyone has a safe experience, but we cannot guarantee a horse will never step on your foot. Take this into consideration when planning for your ride.

No - an appointment or reservation must be made prior to your arrival unless attending a public event hosted by BTG Legacy Ranch. This is a working ranch and private residence, for your safety and our privacy we ask that you book an experience before arriving.

We are working toward creating a facility capable of hosting such events. Those who are willing to entertain a venue that is currently more primitive by nature are more than welcome to contact us and discuss options. You’re more than welcome to bring your own horse to our posted practices and clinics. However, we are only allowing horses owned by BTG Legacy Ranch to have access to the trails and be a part of our guided rides at this time. This helps reduce risk and further ensures the safety of those involved with this acivity.

We consider age on a case-by-case basis during the booking process. Everyone who enters the property must have completed and signed a waiver, even if they are not participating in any equine activities.
